Why Are We Here?
We are here to make disciples of Jesus, and help his followers grow closer to God. We believe this happens in Worship, Relationship, and Service. Each is a step we take and seek to help our neighbors take.
Worship- The worship service is where most people start their faith journey. Whether in person, or online, we seek to offer powerful sermons and engaging music. You are invited to join us in worship. Take that step!
Relationship- It is in relationship where we make a connection to the church and begin a journey of discipleship. When you build strong relationships, you have people who pray for you, study with you, laugh with you, and cry with you. We host meals, parties, small group studies, and several service groups. These are designed to help you grow and strengthen your relationship with other Christians and with God. Get connected!
Service- Service is your faith in action. Whether you serve the church on one of our committees, serve by using your gifts in one of the church's ministries, or serve the community through missions, service is where you fully embrace your purpose and become part of the ministry of the church. Get involved!
Our Campus
Park Terrace Community UMC is home to many community organizations including Park Terrace Food Pantry, Park Terrace Nursery School, AA, Tioga Terrace Civic Association, and Scouts- boys, girls, and cubs.
We have hosted community parties, weddings, showers, dinners, fitness groups, education classes, and other community groups. Our building's worship, education, and social areas are on one, easily accessible level with wide doors and no stairs. Our doors are open to our neighbors.
On nice days, kids play on the playground, and folks gather around the fire pit.
We are located at 30 Glann Rd. in Apalachin, New York. Contact the pastor for a visit.
